Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7 Launching Soon: Pre-Orders Live

Samsung is preparing to introduce its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, during the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event. The devices are expected to be officially announced in just over a week.

Customers in India can already place pre-orders for these phones with a deposit of Rs 1,999. The pre-order package includes additional benefits valued at Rs 5,999. Pricing details suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will start at Rs 1,69,990, while the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be priced from Rs 98,990.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is designed to be Samsung’s slimmest foldable to date. It is likely to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite processor, supported by substantial RAM. The device will feature a 6.5-inch cover screen and an 8.2-inch main display, both with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

In terms of optics, the Fold 7 may include a triple rear camera system consisting of a 200MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto shooter. It is expected to run Android 16, layered with Samsung's One UI 8 interface. The power source is rumored to be a 4400mAh battery, capable of 25W wired charging.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 could feature a 4.1-inch external screen and a 6.9-inch internal display, both offering 120Hz refresh rates and up to 2600 nits of brightness. The Flip 7 is said to be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 chipset. The operating system and interface are expected to match those of the Fold 7.

The Flip model might be equipped with a 4300mAh battery, although charging capabilities are projected to remain standard.

Industry insiders hint that Samsung might also showcase its first tri-fold smartphone during the same launch event, although no confirmation has been issued.
